Berry Blast




Impress your guests with this super tasty, low fat smoothie.

Preparation time: 10 minutes | Serves 2
Nutritional information: Per serving (240ml) 592kJ | 1g fat | 72% carbs | 6g fibre | 7 g protein

½ cup (75 g) frozen cliced or whole strawberries
½ cup (75 g) low-fat silken tofu
½ cup (75 g) frozen blueberries
½ cup (75 g) frozen raspberries
¼ cup (60 ml) cranberry juice
¼ t (1 ml) vanilla extract
2 T (30 ml) wheat germ
1 T (15 ml) sugar

Allow frozen strawberries to defrost slightly (about 7 minutes on the countertop or 20 seconds in microwave on defrost mode)

Meanwhile, in a blender, mix tofu, blueberries and raspberries on whip for 10 seconds. Add strawberries. Mix 5 seconds. Add remaining ingredients and mix 5 seconds. Freeze leftovers.
