Ingredients:
8 cups low-sodium, fat-free chicken broth
1 cup alphabet pasta (or any small pasta)
1 can cut green beans, rinsed and drained
1 can white corn, rinsed and drained
1 can black or white beans, rinsed and drained
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Place broth in a medium pot and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook until pasta is al dente, about 5 minutes. Add green beans, corn, and beans (black or white). Simmer 2 minutes to heat through. Taste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.

Boost Nutrition:
Stir in cans of chicken, drained and rinsed to add 301 kilojoules, 19g carbs, 1g fat, 12g protein, and 45 mg calcium. Stir in two cans small shrimp, rinsed and drained to add 284 kilojoules, 1g carbs, 2g fat, 11g fiber, < 14g protein, 1g saturated fat, and 30 mg calcium.
