Wanting to add some spice to your life? Try these delectable brownies!

Ingredients

200 g Butter
250g Dark Chocolate
125ml Cake Flour
150 ml Cocoa powder
1ml salt
100 g White chocolate, chopped
100 g Pecan nuts, chopped
2 Eggs
240 ml (200g) Castor Sugar
20ml Nando’s extra extra hot Peri-Peri Sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 160˚C.
2. Melt Chocolate and butter over a double boiler or a glass bowl over boiling water.  Allow to cool to room temperature.
3. Sift the flour, cocoa and salt together.  Add the white chocolate and nuts and mix together.
4. Beat eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
5. Lightly fold the melted chocolate, Nando’s Extra Extra hot Peri-Peri sauce and dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
6. Pour mixture into a lined 22 cm x 22 cm cake tin.
7. Bake at for 45minutes, the brownies must be soft in the centre.
8. Allow to cool. Carefully remove from pan and cut into squares.

Makes about 16 Squares
