Super-sexy Christi Panagio (who was our Shape covergirl for September 2011) will be turning up the heat this summer as the face of Garnier Nutrisse’s new glamorous Honey Blonde Collection. With her striking golden good looks, she’s the perfect face (and head) to represent their range of radiant blonde hair colours.
The three new Honey Blonde summer shades – vivacious Vanilla Blonde No.8, glitzy Golden Praline No.7.3 and dazzling Camomile No.10 – have gorgeous golden tones that add depth and intensity to naturally blonde hair.

Value from Nivea
If you want to try a new skin care line but dislike puny little sample sizes, try The Nivea Daily Essentials value added pack (R129,99) which includes the 3 skincare essentials – cleanser, toner and moisturiser. The products would normally cost R183,97 if bought separately. The pack, with Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash Gel, Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner and Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream with SPF 15 is available from Foschini, Clicks, Dis-Chem, Pick ‘n Pay and Shoprite Checkers and is on shelf right now.
Out Damned Spot
I thought that once the hormonal storms of the teenage years are gone, so would be the occasional blemish or spot. Not so! Every now and then, there it is, right on my chin! Then I have to sternly remind myself “fingers off” to avoid scarring and find a fast remedy to fix and conceal the glaring, glowing red imperfection. My best helpers are Mary Cohr Stop Imperfections (R239) and DiorSnow White Reveal Instant Spot Concealer (R660).
Organic spa special treat
I can’t get enough of the only organic spa in SA, Vygenhoek, situated at Dullstroom in Mpumalanga. They now have a festive season treat in store for their fans. From this month (November) onwards they are throwing open their doors to accomodate guests who have been clamouring to stay overnight at this tranquil haven. Tarifs are R1 300 pp for the master suites and R400 pp to overnight in the smaller rooms. The rooms have magnifenct views of the rolling hills surrounding the spa (reminiscent of Scotland) and you can indulge in a meditation garden and an indoor swimming pool in addition to the excellent treatments available.
