Learn how to loosen up your calves, relax your shoulders and open up your chest.
To loosen up your calves:
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Step left leg back as far as you can with both feet flat on the floor. Bend your right knee and slowly shift your weight forward, keeping your left leg straight and your left heel firmly on the floor. Hold the stretch for 20 seconds, then change legs and repeat.
To relax your shoulders:
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Grasp your right forearm with your left hand. Without turning your body or hunching (keep both shoulders down), slowly pull your right arm across your chest as far as you comfortably can. Hold the stretch for 20 seconds, then change arms and repeat.
To open up your chest:
Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Interlace your fingers behind your back. Keeping arms straight, lift your arms as high as you comfortably can without bending over. When you feel a strong stretch across your chest and the front of your shoulders, hold it for 20 seconds, breathing normally.
