Proper running technique
This week Ross Tucker takes us through the elements of good running technique

Running can assist in weight loss, staying in shape, improving body composition and increasing metabolism. But because of the high-impact of running, many injuries are associated with running like “runner’s knee”, shin splints, pulled muscles (especially the hamstring), and twisted ankles to name a few. Which is why it’s important to firstly stretch your muscles and secondly to maintain good running form.

But what is good running form? Ross Tucker, author of The Runner’s Body, takes us through the basics of proper running technique.

Thank you, I have just recently developed an annoying case of runner’s knee, and now I see why…. Won’t make THAT mistake again! I can’t wait to heal up and hit the tarmac again.
